Important: Breaks From Here is a comparison and referral service, not the provider of flights, accommodation or bookings. Please read these terms before using the website.
1. Nature of our service
Breaks From Here is an independent travel information, discovery, comparison and affiliate referral website based in Cyprus and currently under development. We are not acting as a travel agency, tour operator, holiday organiser, booking agent, airline, hotel or seller of travel services. We do not sell holidays or flights, accept booking requests, issue tickets, confirm reservations or process travel payments.
2. Travel trade membership and protection
Breaks From Here does not present itself as an ABTA member, an IATA-accredited travel agent or an ATOL holder and does not itself provide protection under those schemes. Unless and until we expressly announce a verified change, do not assume that booking through a link on this site provides protection from Breaks From Here. Any protection or insurance offered by a booking provider must be checked with that provider.
3. Bookings and contractual parties
If you choose an offer, you may be redirected to an airline, hotel, online travel agency or other booking provider. Any resulting booking, payment and contract are completed directly with that provider, not with Breaks From Here. The provider is responsible for fulfilling the services it sells, issuing confirmations and administering its own changes, refunds, cancellations, complaints and customer support, subject to its terms and applicable law. Please review the identity of the seller, final price and booking conditions before paying.
4. Comparing flights and accommodation
We may display separate flight and accommodation offers, and may display a total of independently quoted prices for comparison. Such a display is not, by itself, an offer by Breaks From Here to sell a package holiday. Different suppliers may impose separate contracts and cancellation rules. In particular, combining separate airline tickets may leave you with no protection if a flight on one booking affects another. Whether EU or national package travel or linked-travel-arrangement rules apply depends on the actual booking process and the law; these terms do not override any rights you have under those rules.
5. Prices, availability and baggage
We aim to display only recent, verifiable offers when our live comparison service launches, including the specified cabin luggage where reliable information permits. However, prices, flight schedules, baggage allowances, hotel ratings, cancellation policies and availability are determined by providers and can change before a booking is completed. The definitive details are those confirmed by your chosen provider at checkout. We cannot guarantee that an offer displayed on our website remains available at the same price.
6. Affiliate commissions and independence
Some links may be affiliate links. If you click such a link and complete a qualifying booking, Breaks From Here may receive a referral commission from the travel provider or affiliate network. We do not impose a separate booking fee on visitors. Affiliate compensation does not make us the seller of the travel service. We intend to prioritise suitability, genuine availability and comparable prices rather than the highest commission. Affiliate tracking may use cookies or similar technologies, as explained in our Privacy Notice.
7. Provider issues and travel disruption
Flights, accommodation and other travel services are supplied independently of Breaks From Here. Questions about service delivery, delays, cancellations, overbooking, insolvency, complaints and refunds should be addressed to the supplier shown on the booking confirmation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for a third party’s failure to provide a service that you purchased from it.
8. Insurance, travel documentation and precautions
We do not provide travel insurance, financial protection or travel advice tailored to individual circumstances. Travellers are responsible for checking passports, visas, entry and health requirements, transit rules and insurance needs using authoritative sources, and for reading all relevant supplier terms before booking.
9. External websites and third-party content
Our site may link to websites we do not operate or control. Those providers maintain their own privacy policies, terms, checkout processes and customer support arrangements. We cannot guarantee their content, security, pricing or uninterrupted availability. Clicking an external link may take you away from Breaks From Here.
10. Website availability and liability
We take reasonable care in publishing travel information, but this website is provided on an “as available” basis, and its search features remain under development until expressly launched. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for losses arising from independently supplied third-party travel services and for temporary website interruptions or third-party errors. Nothing here excludes responsibility for our own unlawful acts, misleading statements, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded. These terms do not remove statutory consumer rights.
